Paul Chelimo to Return to the 2020 Camel City Invitational

The JDL Fast Track announced on Twitter this week that Paul Chelimo has signed on to compete in the 2020 Camel City Invitational.

Our first #CamelCity2020 commitment is from 2016 Olympic silver medalist @Paulchelimo as he returns to the W-S/GSO area where he attended college. Excited to have him back! And don't be surprised if he runs both the mile and 3k like he did in 2018!

Chelimo is a two-time winner of the 3,000 meters, winning in 2017 and 2018. He had originally signed on to race the mile and 3,000 meters at the 2019 meet, but was forced to withdraw after a winter training setback.

The Camel City Invitational is scheduled for Feb. 7-8 in Winston-Salem, N.C. at JDL Fast Track.
